Our buying team works a defined set of wholesale sources. The shape of those sources is what shapes our inventory — and our pricing.
Dealer-only wholesale marketplaces where vehicles move in volume. These are the same channels franchise dealers use to source inventory — not consumer-facing auction sites. Access is restricted to licensed dealers, which keeps the pool of buyers limited and the prices below retail.
A meaningful share of the inventory we carry reaches the wholesale market through dealer trade-ins and end-of-lease returns. These are typically late-model units with known service history and clean title — the kind of vehicle that gets traded in, not the kind that gets parted out.
Off-lease and small fleet vehicles cycle through wholesale channels on predictable schedules. We follow those cycles. Where a corporate fleet turns over vehicles on a fixed mileage or age schedule, we can usually plan acquisition around it.
Today we source from within Florida, anchored to our lot in Brandon. Florida has dense wholesale inventory — enough vehicle flow to keep our lot rotating without the cost of long-haul transport from out-of-state auctions. As our footprint grows, we'll extend coverage deliberately; we won't paste new geography on top of an unprepared operation.
Knowing what we don't carry is as important as knowing what we do. These are the categories that never make it onto our lot.
A vehicle with a salvage, flood, rebuilt, or any branded title history does not enter our inventory, regardless of price. We verify title status with the DMV before listing and won't represent a vehicle's condition if the paperwork doesn't match it.
We don't purchase vehicles that don't run at the time of acquisition or that require significant mechanical repair before they can be driven away. If a unit needs work to be roadworthy, it stays off the lot — and the savings we'd pass on would be erased by the buyer's risk.
We don't pursue vehicles whose condition at delivery would create a plausible surprise for a buyer — high-mileage units well past their expected service life, vehicles with undisclosed prior damage, or units that require disclosure of material risk. Sourcing shape defines what we can honestly stand behind.
We don't chase one-off units from channels we haven't integrated into our buying workflow. The cost of buying a single vehicle outside our normal pipeline — long-haul transport, untested sellers, unfamiliar paperwork — eliminates the price advantage wholesale is supposed to give us.

Florida coverage at the $0–$7k band is today's reality. As we prove the model locally, we'll widen the bands deliberately — same sourcing discipline, broader access. We won't grow faster than our process can absorb.
